Project Description
This project features three immersive stations designed to enhance customer engagement. Centered around Aurora, a custom outdoor apparel brand, the task was to utilize a provided backend framework to build a functional and interactive retail experience. The stations were reskinned with Aurora’s unique visual identity, incorporating custom designs, GSAP animations, and motion graphics to elevate the user experience. The project also included promotional videos and product photography, creating a cohesive and engaging brand journey from discovery to purchase.
360° Touchless Rotating Product App
This station allows customers to interactively explore Aurora Outdoors’ featured product in full 360 degrees. The experience began with a dedicated product photoshoot, capturing 15 distinct angles to create a seamless rotational view. Upon approaching the station, users are welcomed by a looping screensaver that highlights key product details along with a bottom navigation bar. Navigation is intuitive and touch-free—users simply hover their hand above the Leap Motion sensor to rotate the product and view it from different perspectives, making the experience both immersive and hygienic.
Dual-Screen Catalogue Ordering Station
The interactive dual touchscreen station for Aurora Outdoors elevates the shopping experience by enabling customers to browse, customize, and order outdoor apparel with ease. The right-hand screen serves as a dynamic product catalog, while the left displays detailed information for each selected item. A custom photoshoot captured three complete outfit sets for both men and women, with each piece cropped and segmented to allow for mix-and-match customization. Users are introduced to the experience through a motion graphic video featuring clear, step-by-step instructions. They can build their ideal outfit by selecting headgear, tops, bottoms, and footwear, along with preferred sizes and colors. At checkout, an animated guide walks them through the final steps, and a printed receipt is generated for payment at the cashier—offering a smooth, intuitive, and personalized retail journey.
Promo Video Station
Experience Aurora Outdoors from multiple perspectives through three compelling promotional videos that showcase the brand’s identity, core values, and product range. These are paired with clear and engaging instructional videos, guiding users on how to navigate and interact with the digital stations, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience throughout the journey.
